The Golden Ox is a one-of-a-kind venue offering spectacular landscaped gardens where you can exchange your vows followed by your unforgettable reception in the stunning Renoir or Monet rooms.
Our events coordinator can organise all your decorations, do all the set up and, with the help of the team, work tirelessly to make sure everything to the last tablecloth is in place and it all runs seamlessly.

Secluded Gardens
The secluded gardens are your own private oasis in the centre of the Redcliffe peninsula. Guests can sip on champagne and enjoy complementing canapes in the tropical setting of the gardens. The secluded gardens come complete with an adjoining garden bar, and there is ample space for more than 300 guests for cocktail parties and over 100 for seated alfresco dining.

The Monet
The sheer classical feel to the Monet room Encompasses all you could dream of for a romantic wedding reception. Its oval mirrors and stunning stained glass doors capture the feel of the impressionist era. This room also has a private balcony, dance floor and in house sound system. Some audio visual needs can be catered for at no extra charge. Complete table service is offered for all drinks. Our rooms are air conditioned, soundproof and have free undercover and off street parking. The Monet room can accommodate up to 75 guests.

The Renoir
The Renoir room, the larger of our two main function rooms, takes on life with its stained glass doors, special stained glass lighting and stunning silky oak buffet. The multiple options for the bridal backdrop make it a great room for a larger number of guests. This room’s large polished parquetry dance floor is a spectacular feature and also encompasses a built in sound system. Some audio visual requirements can be catered for at no extra charge. Complete table service is offered for all drinks. The Renoir room accommodates up to 110 guests.
